A portfolio site is a great way to showcase your creative works. It’s the perfect platform for illustrators, graphic designers, painters, photographers, fashion designers, home décor specialists, architects, poets, and authors. The format allows you to organize and display your work digitally and reach a global audience. I had fun with this proposed website design, creating the concept, logo, and copy involving a fictitious textile design company that wants to showcase their innovative design ideas for textile applications. The 3 category sections recognize photographic textile works from photographers around the globe. I think it’s colorful, eye-catching, and meets the design purpose I was looking for.

In this portfolio example, I wanted to create something professional and yet a little playful. I’ve seen a lot of photography portfolio sites with an adult theme, but not too much with photography focusing just on children. You’re immediately hit with a simple, effective logo and a splash of color and whimsy. The focus is on the quality of photography and a pull at emotional heartstrings. Three services are listed with a simple session booking platform, along with an easy Contact form.
